Many around the world will be celebrating this annual observance of the International Day of #Disabled.
This day was first proclaimed in 1992, by the United Nations General Assembly resolution 47/3.
It aims is to promote the rights and well-being of persons with #disabilities in all spheres of society and development, and to increase awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.
Everyone has a family member who has a disability this year’s theme is focusing on empowering persons with disabilities, so if you are or know someone who has or is disabled help them by empowering them.
