How to bid for an upvote
Simply send your bid in SBD to @discordia with a post url as a memo from your steemit wallet :

After the current voting round closes (every 1hr 20 minutes), the relative size of all bids is compared and votes are distributed according to your share.
The smallest bidders run a risk of not getting a vote if there are a lot of higher bids in that round.
Don't risk more then you can afford to lose,. There are no refunds.
He @discordia! I really like your service but my last two posts I sended over some sbd and didn't get a vote in return. No big deal since it wasn't much SBD but just wanted to ask if there is something I missed about that ;)

Indeed.... used this "service" last night on a post with 16 hours remaining (well within the guidelines), transferred 0.048 SDB, and received nothing. And this is the second or third time this has happened.
With this being said, I suggest trying @lovejuice. In my experience they have been far more accurate and generous than this @discordia. As well, using the "Promote" feature has also served far better than @discordia does (though not as generous or quick as @lovejuice, @promoted seems even to be far superior to whatever this discordia's got going on - so far, I feel like all @discordia has done is successfully scammed me out of some coin).
Sorry @discordia, yet from my experience your "service" (experiment) sucks and there are far better options out there for people to use rather than gambling with you and "hoping" for some return.
EDIT: Ahhh.... I see the minimum bid rule had changed since the writing of this post, and I underbid by 50%. Still, for those not willing to gamble so much I stand by my other two suggestions -

The bot comments and upvotes happen at the end of each round
You can check the recent comments on its profile to see when it last voted, or just send it off blind anytime and it'll happen within an hour for bot vote and I check all submissions within 24hrs to potentially vote too

Why the longer vote round duration of 1.2 hours instead of 9 minutes?
Because smaller bidders were ending up with such a small % of the overall vote power that it was sometimes skipping them entirely. That can still happen with the longer terms, but its able to be split into far more usable portions this way.
Perhaps it could alternate between multiple bidding time windows - eg: 1hr window, then 2 30 minute windows, 4 15 minute windows etc .
Its all an experiment / learning process, I'm open to any suggestions

TLDR: SBD goes in, votes come out :P
The bot now breaks up a larger amount of vote power so its easier to split between more users - this way less people miss out and it should work out to be a better deal for everyone.
Higher potential rewards will hopefully attract more bids and donations which will all go back into making the bot more and more powerful by the day.
To use it just send an SBD transfer to @discordia with a post address as a memo.
What I wanted to know is do you have to wait 18 mins like before or 1.2 hrs.

How is the SP leased?
As bids build up I convert to Steem via internal market, then send off to @minnowbooster with 4 in the memo code - this turns into an order in the minnowbooster market for a 4 week lease.
This way anybody can profit by delegating to the bot if they want :)
I also have some SP leased directly from @neoxian , and delegated from my master @ausbitbank as well

I've stated in every post, and now on the profile page that I don't refund but its possible you got missed in the changeover between timeframes. I've sent the funds from my account instead, sorry about that.
Please only risk what you can afford to lose, there are no refunds normally because everything is sent off to lease more SBD..

Quick question....How do I know what is a fair bid? I don't want to send a bit and you get mad cause I was being disrespectful by sending such a low bid. Plus With Good Reason I can't afford to spend a whole lot being super new and all so I can't over pay. I have a super Idea....Could you post from time to time as you grow a suggested bid like they do with ppc at google or bing? Just a thought. Thanks
Hi, I tried using it now on my 10 posts. I sent 1 SBD each as my BID and got upvoted 6.99% each but it seems to only give me less than 0.5 SBD upvote. Looks like I made a mistake sending 1SBD on each post I wanted a vote. How does it work? Cheers.
Please read the posts and see the profile page for the latest stats. You overpaid for a single vote, and then kept splitting your share within that 2.4hr window by bidding more on different posts..
According to steemnow right now a full vote is about $4, all bidders within a round share that depending on the relative size of their bid

Yes actually! One of the first posts I came across on Steemit was a "centerlink" post which linked forward to both yourself and teamaustralia. Still wrapping my head around the vast amounts of Steemit lingo, but loving it so far.
