I love this post, and no developing Steemit on our own doesn't mean more bid bots!!!
Checkout my new game I'm developing that runs right on top of Steemit as is!...no add-ons, no packs - You just play!. I'm not a programmer, but spend hours trying, out of love of the Steemit Community. I give away all the SBD and promote community! the $ will come on their own.
Come on if I can do it, everyone can...lets show we don't care about EOS or SMT or whatever the $$...these things of course will effect $ investment, and just about nothing we can do worrying, but Steemit is suppose to be a Social website.
If anyone wants help let me know, if anyone has real ideas on how to improve Steemit let me know and I'll ask around, if not, shit I'll give it a shot!
