I've been here a while @whatsup; and, not to be negative; but, (hold 5 seconds), I've observed more than a few things that make it clear that Steemit is about newcomers. Realistically, the goal doesn't appear at this time, to grow anything. It's just a meeting spot for the community. The only thing I observe growing is the number of newbs showing up, long enough to know it's not really a get-rich-quick plan.
That said, there are a few organic success stories; but, if we had to stare the numbers squarely in the eye most of the wealth is out-of-pocket investing. I could go on; but, I think you know where I'm going ;+).

either way, they came in together and seem to support one another, which is understandable. they earned their place. i dont “hate” that aspect of it all and if it means us lil minnows have to work a little harder then so be it. better to stay positive and productive are my thoughts on all this. focus on own acct moving up and helping others. its what appears to work. new blogger, minnow talking here. best wishes to you, eagle spirit

Geez, indeed you have! I did a quick look at your landing page and see that you started about 90 days AFTER me; and yet, you have about 9K more posts than I...whoa! That deserves some reward right there. And, I couldn't help but notice that you are more than a generic blogger (as I); but, #creator as well.
Before I knew suggestions were cast into the wind, I suggested that posts with 50 words or more get compensated with .01 SP; but, again, that was before I realized no one was listening...lol...just kidding...sorta'.
@eaglespirit I have to say again, bloggers showing your amount of dedication deserve some type of recognition; because, seriously without the consistent input, this platform would have to rework the plan.
That said, have you thought how you will convert your spirit-readings into SMTs when they're released in 2019?

oh as far as medicine readings i was offered a spot on a nichey new age platform but that wasnt for me. the medicine thing was an interesting experiment to see where it went.
