Image potential source

It has come to our attention that you missed adding source to your image.
Please ensure that all images used in your posts are linked to their source and credited unless of your own creation.

Thank you.

I have took the image from pixabay, but these are free images, that'swhyItook it from there. I understand the intent of this bot, but I don't think it's always appropriate.

Indeed, attribution of the photographer is not always required under the Pixabay license but is appreciated.

The only problem is how was I supposed to know it was a "free image" unless you posted the source in the first place?

I have nothing to do with @hivewatchers but FYI I'm leaving my flag up for consideration of my time spent investigating this matter.

so your time is worth a downvote on my side. That's fair.

To this:

Let me ask you - why should you care?

Everyone should care about how the hive uses our communal reward pool because we are all owners of this decentralized place & should do what we can to make sure it isn't abused.

Sorry I've confused you with my vague question - why should you care if I mention the source of the free images I use or not?

I'm wasting my time trying to explain you the presumption of innocence anyway.

So I don't mistake it for fraud.

Hello soonlambo.

If you consider some images/photography that was not sourced and which are considered to be the MAIN HIGHLIGHT of the post, please report such plagiarism in our form:
https://hivewatchers.com/reports/new

If the images/photos are not considered the main highlight of the post, it is recommended not to report it in our form but leave a polite comment on the post that asks the user to cite the images/photos.

Thank you.
