Circumstances surrounding my weekend have it that
am usually off. Our SHOKiN usually happen on weekends.
On 7/11/2024 we held our SHOKiN Day 7. Unfortunately i had to find my to the venue from the office, the challenges i had to face wasn't mind blowing. I had to walk a distance from my walking place to that venue as a particular were celebrating their day and there was a road block. The tricycle and bus drivers changed route immediately as a result of it. I got exhausted after the long walk, and wasn't able to get the fun for the day 7 as i expected.
Walked in tired and greetings friends one whispered into my ear saying i thought you were not going to make it to this place before i could the other said this one? She'll never miss this for anything, i know she'll be here. She's always regular. I placed my order for take out, paid in HBD, captured some wonderful and then went off to God's Own supermarket as my time was limited.
I decided to kill two birds with a stone just like wise one would, i proceeded to the supermarket to het some groceries for the house. Yet there's still a road block leading to the supermarket. I managed to get through the place.
Making choices of what i wanted wasn't difficult neither did it take much time as i made list before coming out from the house.
On my way back to where i came from i was opportunited to have a little conversation with one of the celebrants of the tribe that caused the block. It's an annual occasion and their tradition, but why not find a place for this occasion and not block the major road causing transportion problems for the other habitants.
I love the way you make lists of items you intend to buy before heading out, it's a virtue. Missed your presence in Shokin Day 7, we'll meet again!
When I walked in, I was told the first set already left I believe you and @debbydaniels were in that group. Will try to make it on time next SHOKiN to enjoy the company.
