Ok, the addition at the end has terrible sound so I will summarize.
- Check the screws in the door as well as the jam.
- Other things that work great for filling stripped out wood holes are golf tees, dowel, toothpicks and chopsticks.
- A firm but pliable plastic can also be used.
- If you are handy you can even cut or chop down a piece of wood from a board.
- Of course this tip applies to most any stripped hole, not just door hinges.
