Hey Steemians,
For a while I've wanted to move my main workstation from my dining room table to a more...suitable location.
So my room has a big closet in it and I decided, wouldn't it be nice if I could have a big desk built into the closet to hold all my robotics tools, my 3d printer, and some of my finished projects. It's a lab of science exploration in my bedroom, and I'm psyched.
Now, I could have just bought some ikea boards and assembled them, but wheres the fun in that?
So I decided to...
Oh yeah.
Anyways, I asked my friend for some help to see if I could borrow tools and a big place to build my desk, and he said he could let me borrow his garage for a few days.
Now I started construction yesterday and here is the stage by stage progression of my built in workstation:
Day 1: Cutting the desk template
Applying the first coat of poly
Day 2: Using a steel wool sponge to sand first coat imperfections, applying second coat
Ready to apply second coat!
Done for now, lets let it dry!
Tomorrow the second coat should have dried and I can show you some final installation pics.
Cheers and subscribe for some other cool projects!
