When we moved to our new, almost-finished home in 2012, my main clock for the living room died. I loved the frame though and couldn't bear to just throw it away. It took me until this year to figure out what I wantes to do with it.
After removing the glass from the front of the clock, I grabbed the epoxy and started squeezing it on the face. I set the hands to 4:20 (because why wouldn't I?) and poured my collection of tumbled rocks over the epoxy.
I waited until the next day to dump off the excess rock. Then I tried reattaching the glass, but I underestimated how big some of the rocks were and the glass broke. Oh well. It truned put awesome anyway. It hangs on my back porch.
Thanks for looking at my little project. It wasn't hard. I can't believe it took me so long to come up with it.
Stay tuned!
That looks really nice
You are so crafty!!
Beautiful rocks,! Does it weigh a ton?
You know, it really doesn't! I hung it on a screw with ease.
I have a bird house that is covered in rocks and I can hardly lift it!
I would love to see it!
Just posted birdhouse pictures for you....
