These are some awesome Fence Solar Light Holders we made to put on our fence to provide some ambience (lol) and some low lighting that just looks beautiful. I never let my husband get rid of wood scraps (our curse) so when I think up stuff like this to make use of it, I feel justified.
What you need:
- Pressure Treated 2x4 lumber
- Saw
- Drill
- 1" Drill Bit
- "L" Brackets (the kind that wont rust and have screws included preferably)
Anyway, cut your 2x4's in length to 4 inches long. Then drill a 1 inch hole into it on the side-middle so that you have enough room to attach the bracket. Then attach the bracket and attach the bracket to the fence. Drop a Dollar Tree solar light into the hole. When it goes out, just replace it with another one.
CHEAP, EASY, AND BEAUTIFUL!!!
We put these all around our backyard and on the front sides of our fence. They are so pretty!!!
Now, that's a great idea!
Check out the new post on the portable ones. You can make them for just about anywhere! We are going to make some as gifts too. They look so beautiful at night. And if you lose power at night you can grab them and bring them inside.
