As a record label in charge of many artists that regularly perform DJ sets, this is the first time we feel that we would recommend to stay away from something @djlethalskillz!
Our fears mainly revolve around potential digital distortion from streaming issues & audio dropouts. Also the audio quality on Soundcloud got downgraded a lot earlier this year, bringing it down to a ridiculous 64kbps.
We recommend all of our digital DJ's to never play anything other then WAV or FLAC to keep the audio quality as high as possible. Especially this is important for bigger soundsystems, like on festivals! 🤠
@alfheimr-records Salute and nice to meet u, thanks for ur feedback! Totally agree with u on the quality of music and I'm sure Soundcloud and Tidal along with Serato aware of that, from what I hear there will be some kind of a premium service to grant u access for only high-quality formats. I'm looking forward to seeing similar collaborations with Blockchain music platforms in where music creators earn instantly when their music gets played in clubs, festivals and such! Let's see how things will go! Kudos
