CSS linters help us to identify irregularities in our CSS code that might lead to bugs when the product goes into production.
For beginners who have not honed their skills to perfection using a linter can be a real life saver because it will help you save a lot of time you might spend debugging a buggy code where the bug is not immediately visible probably due to the skill level of the developer.
While all linters are great, one CSS linter that I'd personally recommend is Stylelint which in my experience is the best.
Read this post on how you can use Stylelint to lint your CSS code.
