I actually didn't expect Kendrick Lamar can be arrogant saying he is the King of New York in hip-hop world. The way you hear his music's theme, they seemed to be socially relevant. Remember, his song Humble? He doesn't actually sound humble on his statement.
There you can understand Big Sean if ever he was annoyed at Lamar. Still, he denied there's a beef. But for sure, he isn't close friends with Lamar. Meanwhile, regarding Lamar, I don't even think he is at the level of Jay Z and Eminem yet.
