The guy has moments of clarity in a sea of crazy. I like the idea of moving the US to a USD crypto and away from the Federal Reserve Bank fiat fantasy land currency.
BUT and this but is the 400 pound gorilla in the room. It makes deficits and debt real. For this reason alone is why India banned crypto's. Their entire communist economic policy is to build debt and collapse the currency. Pay the debts accrued in that currency with that currency. Make a new currency and repeat.
What i'm getting at... if we were to switch to crypto's today... all the social programs and the Democrat cash give away's would stop on a dime. It wouldn't even be from the Republicans either. The Democrats know none of this shit is sustainable and only works when the money is a lie. Things would go Mad Max style if we were to abruptly change. We need to easy off of fantasy land and glide into reality nice and easy. Which is what everyone is doing. John McAfee is a fruitloop who would yank the plug and see what explodes. I like the guy. He entertains me greatly with his wild tales and theories. But putting certifiable nutcase in charge of the country... while entertaining... probably be bad.
