In the long term, censorship just wouldn't work in this modern era. It may work to the advantage of google and apple in the short run, but if they persist it will simply annoy users and that will encourage new competitors to enter the market to take advantage of the lack.
This will in turn eat into the market share of google and apple in the long run.
They are just digging their own grave.

The innovated idea of the DApp system is really going to cause big waves in the blockchain system, I already see dApps hosting platform like chromia paving it's way towards mass adoption even the IADB had to make an affiliation with it, even though it's still a start up program. Google and Apple really wouldn't know what hit them.
