True And Genuine Worship Is Treating Your Body As Holy And Pleasing To God

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

True worship is more than music. It's a lifestyle focused on God. It’s measured not just by raising your hands while singing, going to church every Sunday, not by just declaring that you believe in Him. True worship is a matter of the heart expressed through a lifestyle of holiness enabled by the Holy Spirit. Our worship directed to God transforms us in such a way that we can know his will for our lives and treating our body as Holy and Pleasing to God.

LORD, my soul rejoices in you. You are so awesome, and yet you care for me. I want to offer each and every part of my body as a living sacrifice to you. Please, Lord, open my eyes to who you are. Reveal your will for my life so that I may worship you with even greater joy for all eternity. Amen.
