This best selling children's book was first published in 1969 and 50 years later is still in print! In my real life, my wife and I have a kids bookshop and we still copies on a weekly basis.
This isn't an exception. Even in these days of smartphones and multimedia, kid's books still sell, and many have been published for years, my next chore is to pack a copy Enid Blyton's Magic Faraway Tree for a customer in Thailand!
The enduring appeal of children's books is perhaps more to reminiscing generation X parents than by personal choice, but its nice to see reading real books is still popular, of not exactly thriving!
