Colleges and universities took the #MyTopCollege competition to the field this week to show who has the best game day spirit.
California State University, Fullerton remained on top this week, leading the board with 290 submissions and claiming the winning spot in the large school category for four weeks in a row. CSUF boasted about some of their NCAA Division I sports teams. Titans can look out for the vice president of human resources, diversity and inclusion David Forgues’ bright orange suit in the crowd when the university’s sports start up again next month.
For those who are newer to the Titan family, CSUF hosts tailgates for students to learn the Titan Pride chants to make sure they’re ready for game day.
It’s a home run for Widener University, who continues to dominate the mid-sized school category. Mike LaRosa, Widener’s head baseball coach, dropped some of the team’s stats as student-athletes; besides a seven season streak of more than 20 wins, the group has a team GPA above 3.0 for the past eight years.
