This is excellent because there is far too much emphasis on younger and younger children being educated formally in classrooms and being made to work far too hard, far too young.
At least until 7, kids should just be allowed to learn by play and be free to take everything before gently adopting to a more formal education from 7 upwords. Well done Finland and well done @sn0white for sharing this :-)

Well why not... kids are eager to learn when the subjects are not boring... and they will enjoy the program too.
I think it is the right move. The world is moving fast forward. The old traditional learning may not be as appropriate as before. But we shouldn't completely cut our children from our old traditions. They should be taught both I think.
