Interesting potential for power storage in static applications, as current solutions require frequent replacement of batteries. I will have a look at this directly, as the materials necessary for a 'salt-water' battery are unknown to me, and may be far more benign than legacy systems. It is concerning that lithium is in too short supply to provide materials for enough batteries for expected growth in the transport industry, much less than that combined with static applications, such as residential.
