I think it's a beautiful tradition

We also do this tradition, we offer all kinds of food on a table  fronting the altar and say a prayer...  good one, thanks for sharing!

This is away from the reality. No one ever had returned from the afterlife. It is only possible in the movies, not in the real life. His love for his father got him away from the reality.
