Re-volt & Rocket League crossover
As part of my 3D portfolio re-vamp, I've decided to take my ultimate favorite classic game- Re-volt and remaster its RC cars with a new generation graphic standards in mind - Rocket League style (also happens to be my second favorite game).
Unlike the old days, where low-poly, blocky game assets were modeled in 3D software and textured in Photoshop, new generation software such as Substance Painter 2 allows you to create some of the most realistic assets!
For the purpose of this project I'll be taking the most iconic Re-volt car the "dust mite" and re-doing it for modern game engine purposes. In order to do that I'll be going through the following workflow:
- Modeling in 3dsmax
- Unwrapping UV in 3dsmax
- Texturing in Substance Painter
- Rendering in Unreal Engine 4
