High!
I don't know why, but I have a hard time playing shooters that don't allow you to look down ironsights.
So like CS:GO looks like "hip-fire". Battlefield, PUBG, etc. allow you to "aim down iron-sights".
I just aim better with gun in my face than with cross hairs. And I'm not meaning so much the actually aim mode, but how the game shows your gun when you aim.
And I loathe cod. When it comes to competitive shooters I actually prefer the pace of World of Tanks, but for FPS games it would be Battlefield.
Shooter is a generic term that could be applied to a lot of games. But yes, it is a tactical vehicular shooting game. Much like CS:GO it takes not only skill, but also knowledge. Also, it's one "life" per match.
It is free to play and free to win.
Have a nice stream
Multiple nations with up to 5 classes of tanks, each with their own unique play style. Good competitive gameplay that is good for teamwork and tactics.
15 vs 15
Big maps though. Some are ~1km by ~1km
IF you try it. Give it plenty of time. It can take some people awhile to fully understand the game. And the way the tanks play and the way the matches play out changes the higher the tier of tank.
At first it is all about maneuvering and less about aiming. As you move up the tiers tanks positioning/angling becomes more important and you have to start aiming for weak spots.
In WoT the top ranking is Unicum then Super Unicum
It's latin for "a unique example or specimen"
It's used to describe the top 0.1% and 0.01% of players respectively.
