technically dlive isnt decentralized

running of wowza servers. Not sure of the infra needed to do decentralized livestreaming

DTube for instance runs on IPFS (distributed file sharing system) which works for static file, but not sure about livestreams

wowza is basically an off the shelf server solution for livestreaming platforms. Livestream uses it (now owned by Vimeo) and others. Good for not having to run your own servers for smaller platforms

the delay is because of wowza from what I undertsand. Something like Mixer can run FTL, and use their own system (Microsoft).

Same with Twitch and YT, they run their own servers = lower latency usually. That's my understanding at least
