Now that you mention subsidies, in the case of Venezuela a lot of people depend on gas to be subsided because there is no capacity to pay for international prices, salaries aren't enough. And they were planning to put gas at the international prices except for those with a "country card" in spanish called "carnet de la patria" which works like a control mechanism and 'forces' people into subscribing to this card to be able to receive all types of subsidies (mostly food). But yesterday I read they were delaying the implementation of international gas prices until further notice...

Regarding the devaluation, Monday (tomorrow) and especially Tuesday (when a there is a national strike planned) are going to be crazy days, today I saw a video where a person was showing some prices and they were already like 5 times the prices of just a few days ago...

I believe these problems will be solved eventually, but it is worrying to think about what could happen before they are solved.
