Alone In The Hills
This is a special song, this is the first song that I made with my bro in arms, Ghetto Blade Runner. He is currently the only artist that I am working with through New Sound Records, my business.
Why We Made This Song
Blade is like a mix of the weekend, xxxtentacion, and uzi vert if i had to compare his music to other artists. We made this song for people who are lone wolfs. People who go through life on their own accord and aren't dependent on others. People who don’t care how others view them, and like the majority of the music that I make people who how previously
Producing Alone In The Hills
This was actually a rushed track for me. Blade just hit me up one day and was “like yo let's do a collab but I need it done in 2 days”. I wrote two verses while at work and ended up using the second one, mixed it down which wasn’t easy, this was a different mix then I am accustomed to. I make hip-hop and rap songs. Mixing a song like this was fun challenging and made me step out of my comfort zone as a vocal engineer, different genres present different challenges for a vocal engineer. I got it finished up and sent over to him in two days.
Diverse Success In Music & Life
For this song, I took a trip into his(Blade) alternative rock lane with this song(the song takes on more of a somber tone). We did all the recording and mixing at my apartment per usual. Blade has since gone on to sign with a label. Check out some of my music and his music on soundcloud & dsound.
