DJ Avicii has died a natural death. The body of the famous Swedish DJ, who died in Oman on Friday, was twice autopsied and investigators dismissed any criminal track in the cause of death, a source in the Omani police said on Saturday.
Considered one of the best DJs in the world, Tim Bergling, his real name, was found dead on Friday in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, where he had been on vacation with friends for a few days.
The family asked for confidentiality about the causes of death
"We confirm that there is no criminal track retained for the death" of the world star of electro music, said this source on condition of anonymity.
The police in this Gulf country has "all the information about the death" of the 28-year-old DJ, but "refuses to make them public for reasons of confidentiality" at the request of the family, said the source.

From Madonna to David Guetta, the messages of artists and anonymous flocked to social networks to greet the memory of the young Swede and his contribution to electro music. Avicii was notably known to the public for his hit Wake Me Up with American singer Aloe Blacc in 2013.
