Hey @flipstar! Well as the name implies you need to be able to present a certain journalistic activity. I applied on the offical website of the International Press Federation: http://www.ipf-fip.org/membership-registration/how-to-become-a-member/
After the approval, I paid β¬105/$135 which includes both the one-time membership fee and the annual contribution. So after the first year it'll be only $70 to pay annually.
