I have 17 videos on DLive and I have hosted 32 broadcasts in total. These are all DLive exclusive from a dedicated content creator and streamer.
Note that this is far from every VOD, as DLive faced some issues with VODs for several days, so I bet there's anything between 5 and 10 VODs missing.
Also, this is what I have produced in approximately one month, as a true believer. All my VODs are anything from 1 hour up to 3+, so it clearly shows my passion for gaming and my dedication to this platform.
On top of this, there are no easy option to download your content from DLive so I had to figure out how I could do this, so I could start to create highlights from my stream sessions too. The first time I made a video, was for the "Fortnite Hungry Campaign", which I actually won too.
To create these videos are very time consuming, but I figured that I would put in the necessary effort as I wanted to grow my audience on DLive, due to the fact that it was on the Steem Blockchain. ~4 Days ago, I uploaded the first Stream Highlights video, or the sample of it, as it was ~55% completed.
I have probably spent about 10 to 15 hours doing this. As I have to download the VODs, check the entire VODs to find highlights, clip, edit and create video files and finally create the highlight video-file...
I went from Twitch to DLive, even though I'm a twitch affiliate (not partner) and have been streaming on Twitch for more than 2 years. Yeah, I already had an audience on Twitch, but I simply waved them goodbye when I realized how much I loved DLive. All due to Steem blockchain.
Now, you're pissing me on my back and you're telling me that you'll take my content with you, without introducing an easy option for me to download my content and/or delete it before you move to Lino.
You had 2 million Steem Power and you have been rewarding tons of people... But you wanted more. I'm okay with that, but I truly think your reasons are weak as fuck, because all of your so-called answers are.
You ignore questions being asked in your:
"Ask me anything about DLive migration!", and you simply tell people to wait and look forward to the migration... Seriously?
You've been milking Steemit and Steem for a long time, even though it might not have been your initial idea. And you know it.
How on earth, can you justify your actions and what are you willing to offer me, a dedicated content creator to join your "new dlive"? 100 lino? That's not even listed yet, and by the answers I've been getting for the past several hours, the only way to earn Lino, is after my audience have been tipping or gifting me money.
And you want me to believe that would be a better option and that you'll be rewarding streamers more properly than you could with 2 million Steem Power?
Wow. That's all I can say. I'm looking forward to an offer I can't refuse. An offer so good, so I'll move from Steem blockchain.
Good luck with that.
I have 12 videos on @dlive, and now I'm not sure what to do as postings to @dtube seem to disappear after a while. (post remains, video missing in action).
use @vimm
I didn't see an option to upload pre-recorded vids to vimm.
Ouch,Maybe a screen recorder using Vimm of the video?
Don't think that is happening. Very bad internet. And there would be a definite loss of quality.
You don't need to move from the Steem blockchain. Just use Vimm, or D.Tube, or wait for something else to pop up. Moving to another Steem platform will bring your audience with you, no need to start re-building your fanbase. That's what I intend to do anyway.
No way will I go to Lino and start building up from scratch again - an unproven blockchain with monetization based on tipping. They're basically becoming like any other streaming platform.
