People seem to not understand that dtube/dlive/... are highly centralized and only very partially DLT. It would be good if the big youtubers were aware of this an realize that only the text is on the blockchain, on the ledger, and the video is centralized. It's not to discredit anything, they have the curation system which is a massive difference from YouTube, but to put it into perspective.

Is it even possible to put the videos on the blockchain. Wouldn't be too slow? Sorry if noob question but still trying to get up to date on the subject.

Everything is possible. But it indeed wouldn't be very practical. Blockchains aren't free, there's always a cost, network traffic, storage, processing, ...
