[dlive] Will THIS Book Turn Me Into a Bitcoin Maximalist?

After watching several of his lectures and interviews online, I've decided that I'm gonna read "The Bitcoin Standard" by Saifedean Ammous to see if it can convince me to become a Bitcoin Maximalist.

Let me know if you've read the book, and what you think of it.

I am relatively new to the cryptocurrency space and although I have some strong opinions about things here but have learned that its better to listen before speaking.

After I saw your post in the morning I have been thinking about the what could possibly be behind the idea of bitcoin maximalism. I am a firm supporter of a diversified portfolio but I am also a firm support of the fact that every portfolio needs bitcoin to make it complete.

As for the book I might not be able to read it anytime soon (my 'to read' list is way to long at the moment) but I would really like to hear your opinion if you do read it.

As crypto enthusiasts, one should truly value bitcoin above all others.

The Bitcoin Standard, without exhausting its subject, constitutes a basis of reflection strong enough to impose itself as a staple in the great upcoming discussion on Bitcoin. The question will then no longer accept or not Bitcoin, or to ask if all this is very moral or really useful, these debates are already outdated. The question will be rather to estimate the impact of Bitcoin in the functioning of our economy, and to prepare for it at best.

With the limited supply of Bitcoin makes it more valueable in terms of marketprice and also been the most standardize crypto coin and the first crypto currencies that was made gives it an edge over other coins and . And based on the fact that Bitcoin is the revolution in decentralize currencies all these makes Bitcoin unique and special
