Hey everyone!!!
Let's talk about guitar picks.
Did you know that the pick material Does make a difference in your playing/tone?
There are many reasons guitarists choose any one particular pick.
- Shape
- Thickness
- Material
Maybe even just how it looks. 😊
Check out this @dlive video, & check out this blog on steemit for more picks.
Special thanks to @steevc for sparking the idea!

That's a cool selection. I haven't got an wooden picks, but I do have some in metal. I find those a bit scratchy on the wound strings. I may do a video showing some of what I have some time. Thanks for the mention.
@steevc Actually, this is YOUR collection. :-) If you can just cover the shipping to the UK. I just need your address.
Cheers! I've mailed you my address. I look forward to getting them.
I like Dunlop Large Point Tip 3.0mm picks.
Cool man. Dunlop makes great stuff!
Nice interesting video..
Thanks for watching!
Picks really do make a difference. Live i mostly use those Fender medium tortoiseshell colored ones. At home i fool around with heavys and thin ones. I like thin ones for rhythm playing a lot and the heavy ones are i find often sound darker and i like those for playing slow lead parts. The materials make a big difference too. I bought some Lollar pickups years ago and they came with a fibre board pick that i love! It's great for a crazy clean trebly sound when you rake it over the strings
