Hi DLive community this is my first video on this awesome community and here I am sharing my travel experience of The Connaught place New Delhi India, the capital of India where I was on 07 July 2018.
The Connaught Place is known for the beauty and marvellous architecture, this place is one of the most notable and among largest financial, commercial and business centres in New Delhi, India. In short we Indians or mainly the Delhi people often abbreviated it as CP.
Here you can find the headquarters of several most prominent Indian Business Houses. Connaught Place is known as the most prominent commercial place for the new city i.e. New Delhi. Connaught Place is a place of pride for the city and counted among the top heritage structures in New Delhi. The notable point about this place is it was developed as a showpiece of Lutyens' Delhi in British Rein period as a prominent Central Business District.
The Connaught Place named after The Prince Arthur, 1st Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, and the construction work began in 1929 and was completed in 1933. This place is linked with a metro railway station Called Rajiv Chowk after the name of Rajiv Gandhi, one of the Former Prime Ministers Of India.
