Skip to minute 3:40 for the actual lesson as I start off with speaking some nonsense :P.

I decided to give this type of videos a go to tackle certain music concepts that would be too difficult to explain , al least for me, over text. I'm stepping a little out of my comfort zone so bear with me as I get a little more fluent on these type of videos.

Anyways ! I hope you get some useful advice from this video! And hopefully I'll see you on a next one !

Thanks for listening!

Thanks for the lesson. Timing is something I can definitely improve on. I hope you consider even more basic exercises to help guitarists improve their timing with the metronome.

thank you @gtrplayer , will try to tackle some more of those.. any more specific suggestion? Cheers!

Yes, exercises you used/still use with the metronome to improve your sense of rhythm and timing on the guitar.

sure , though let me drop you a very good video for this that I believe applies to all levels :)

Thank you.

Pechi, this is way better... its like having a one on one lesson with a teacher, this is the way, im sure.

Thank you irmao .. I might try and tackle more of these in the near future then :)

Excellent video. Enseñas muy bien :) Totalmente de acuerdo con empezar primero sin metrónomo.
I don't like to use metronomes when playing piano.. I like to flow to whatever comes. But then I love percussion and rhythms :-D

Gracias @hedac :) .. si .. tocar con metronomo todo el tiempo puede inclusive ser malo para la interpretación , pero como con todo lo demas .. es una herramienta , hay que tomarla como tal :) !

your english isn't half as bad as you think it is. also helps that you are the cuter brother ;) (sorry meno) I think this is a terrific avenue for you and if i had a guitar I would be tempted to follow this for lessons. alas i am poor and uncoordinated but i think this is very important to help the people who can benefit from your expertise! best wishes!

Thank you very much dear @torico :) ! I'm glad you like it and you don't find my english bad hehehe.. practice will make it better .. i just have to keep doing these type of videos ! new goal : make Torico play guitar Hugs!

hahaha if you can do that i will try singing and piano playing next!

Make sure to tag us on Instagram and Twitter at @OfficialDLive when you go live or upload a video! :)

Thank you very much @cheaky! Will do! thanks for the heads up! Cheers!

Oh I love it! You're a natural vlogger. I agree with Meno, this is so much cooler than just reading a tutorial (not that those aren't awesome as well) in your blog. This is more like a private lesson and I can understand better. If you keep going, I may get better at music! : ) Please don't stop! ♥ Well done! Cheers and cookies!!

yay! thank you Serena ! I'm glad you liked it ! and thank you so much for coming to watch ! :D ! will try to make more then! pancake throwing lessons too ;)

Oh whooo, I would watch a pancake throwing lessons video a hundred times!

Interesting stuff. I've read and heard people talking about this, but a demo goes a long way. I've had some experience playing with a band and timing is everything. I still need to work on it.

thank you @steevc :) ! we all need to work on our timing forever :P

glad you found this video useful ! will try and make some more !
