300 ABS for 10 DAYS!
You can do any combination of abs (must be completed within 2 hours) and if you skip a day, you start over! 300 for those Spartan abs!
I was inspired by some of the instructors there at the studio. They held themselves accountable by making a little chart and "X"ing each of the days, and their before and after photos were awesome. I'm not usually one to really join or finish these types of challenges, but once I got started, I realized it only takes 10-15 minutes out of your day.
The really cool thing was that on day 8, I went to open pole and decided to revisit a few combos that I had struggled with from the previous months. Boy, was I SO SURPRISED. I'm convinced that the ab workout made everything a lot easier. Some tricks that I couldn't hit before came easily. I guess core strength is pretty important.
Since then, I have convinced my sister @karensuestudios and a couple of my friends to join me in this ab challenge because... THE RESULTS ARE REAL!
My friend said she will do 300 abs x forever, but we will see about that. :P I'm liking the added strength so much for my poling that I too have continued past the 10 days. I am on day 15. :) JOIN ME STEEMIANS!

How long ago did you start learning to do pole stuff?? I watched your video and it seems like that has to take a heck of a long time to learn. Did you do gymnastics or something before that?
So what exactly is the 300 abs challenge? Do you have a checklist like your instructors? That would be cool to see! Maybe you mentioned exactly the requirements 14 days ago. I must've missed it. I'll go look again!
Haha no I didn’t make an original post! I’ve been poling 2 and half years so far :) but I LOVEEE it! 300 abs any type of ab workout for 10 days! It’s pretty open to whatever you want to tailor it to. I might make a post on the types I’ve been doing. I was just super delighted to see it made a difference in my pole practice so I made this post about the awesomeness of the challenge 😁 no gymnastics background aside from half a year when I was like 8 or something lol. Basically started from scratch 😝
I want to do YOUR an workout though, hehe because it sounds like yours is getting killer results.

300 abs will definitely help but it will have long-term consequences: remember that the core is a cylinder so back, front and sides all need work, otherwise you will wreck your posture, among other things. So do your challenge and once it's done, 300 core for maintenance
Great point @nikv! I actually have been doing a mix of side abs and those Cupid pole crunches in the 300 along cuz I definitely can’t do that many straight crunches with some updog stretches. I did a few back on one of the days... but since then has forgotten. you think it’ll be fine to continue on if I have all of those mixed in the 300? 🤗 I love having you on here with me in steemit my fellow poler!
Yes, keep mixing and you should be good to go. Don't forget about hips, either. Side planks and variations of those, especially with leg-lifts are your friend ;)

Great to hear this abs fitness routine and it sounds great that you've added this to your routine and it's really giving that added strength and it's making your art more easy going. There are so many activities which can enhance our work but most of the time we never stay familiar with it but sometimes it comes in life just like that but give great results.
And combination of this fitness routine can help anyone because it's an complete body stretching and many times people do it with support because after few reps upper body feels tired and to push the upper body we throw our legs in the air and that's not an good way to do it. Initially it's good to take the collaborative help because then people can perform that abs fitness routine in an traditional way and over the period of time they will achieve the mastery.

I will definitely join the 300 AB challenge. I usually do them daily during the week, but I think I do around 100 to 160 so this challenge will be perfect for me. Love it.
