Time seems to fly by so fast and before you know it, precious moments have already come and gone. This best describes my feeling coming towards the end of our trip in Mljet. On the last day on this paradise island, we decided to go back to visit Pomena one last time!
Pomena has the only hotel in the entire island which is called “Hotel Odisej Mljet”. It is surrounded by scenic unspoiled nature, featuring beautiful hiking and biking paths and cool tranquil blue waters of the Adriatic in front.
The beach bar of the hotel is suited right by the waterfront and is freely opened to the public. Lots of sun loungers relax at the sea front providing a truly luxurious experience for tourists, which includes us, lol! The Adriatic is famous for it's sparkling clear waters so swimming out there is such a welcome treat. Scuba-diving fans would also love it as the visibility beneath the surface is simply incredible!
So I did exactly that for the entire afternoon, lol. The feeling of swimming with the fish in the sea is unreal and definitely made for a most unforgettable experience!
We headed to the restaurant after the swim and of course, some delicious Croatian cuisine was the order of the day, hehe. I tried the famous mushroom pasta with a creamy truffles sauce. Absolutely delicious!
And so ends my memorable vacation to this beautiful island. I have never felt so at home in any other part of the globe I can think of. This really was something special and I cannot wait to return again one day. Goodbye for now, Mljet. Until next time.

时光飞逝，转眼间我们在姆列特岛的8天旅程就快要结束了。在这个美丽岛屿的最后一天，我们决定再次前往Pomena这个特色小镇。
整个姆列特岛上唯一的一家酒店就座落在这里，名为“Hotel Odisej Mljet”。酒店被秀丽的大自然环抱着, 四周拥有清晰的徒步和自行车路线，并且与宁静湛蓝的亚得里亚海相邻。这里也算是岛上的一个景点吧，呵呵。
酒店的海滩酒吧对外开放，大量日光躺椅摆放在海滩前，供游客享受日光浴，非常舒适。亚得里亚海以它清澈蔚蓝的海水而闻名，所以在这里游泳简直是人生一大享受！由于海水能见度高并且鱼类品种丰富，许多潜水爱好者也纷纷慕名前来哦！
整个下午我没干别的，就在海里游泳晒太阳，呵呵。能这么近距离地与鱼儿一起畅游，真是一次非常难忘的体验！
游泳后我们了餐厅，当然吃克罗地亚菜的本地菜咯，呵呵。这天我尝了著名的蘑菇意大利面配奶油和本地产的松露，味道很浓，好好吃哦！
明天我们就会前往杜布罗夫尼克。作为劳碌奔波的城市人，我在姆列特岛上享受了返璞归真的生活，感觉这趟旅游非常特别也很难忘。真心期待不久的一天可以再回来这里，呵呵。

I am from Croatia and have been on many Croatian islands, but Mljet is probably one of the nicest. Do you know that according the legend Ulysses (Odisej in Croatian) was lost somewhere around Mljet and other smaller islands near Mljet.
