I doubt that Steem will exist by 2021.
If it will exist by then, both Bitcoin and Steem will barely bu usable by then.
Bitcoin's infrastructure's weaknesses were starting to show by late 2017.
With Steem, the problem is with its interfaces - on steemit.com this thread is practically not browseable, and the other interfaces charge their customers dearly, taxing their income, not only their profits.
My computer acts similar to POW mining when I open such steemit pages in it.
I am barely able to type this text.
In the wallet/transfers it is the same problem.
The STEEM blockchain with its excessive amount of spam is also unsustainable.
