that's really not on them, that's down to the IPFS technology really. decentralized comes with no promises i've found and if you are putting content there for training (like i do) i put on udemy and skillshare too. not sure about @dtube i don't put stuff on their long enough! :) and actually with AI maybe over time deleting stuff that's not getting viewed or relevant might be worth deleting anyway for more up to date information -- something for me to think about! cheers! :)

DTube I understand extends storage time by paying for extra with 10% of the 25% post reward cut they take. But it is still usually no more than a few weeks. Although I believe they are looking very soon to improve on the storage system.
DLive I am informed uses Amazon AWS for storage rather then the decentralised IPFS approach. Maybe the D in DLive stands for Dependable instead.
HAHAH! like that, yeah i found the @dlive to be awesome, their support in the discord is amazing too.
I have swapped to DLive for putting up my radio show recordings.
Because of the name a lot of people don't realise that DLive can be used for standard pre-recorded video storage rather than just live broadcasts.
nice. smart move, @dlive is a great platform and it's going to be amazing with the team they have.
yeah video uploads are easier to upload too i've found, i think @dtube is probably better for daily stuff, vlogs and things.
