As content creators we are always looking for ways to get more attention for the content that we create. That is a big challenge today.
There're so many people who are creating content it is hard to stand out from the crowd. What can you do that will attract the people that you want to ultimately monetize the content you're creating?
Here's a very interesting article that I just read today from the Wall Street Journal about podcasters who are taking an unusual approach to get more listeners. This still applies for us creating Steemit, DLive, and other platforms.
Enjoy this video and let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing your comments below. Thank you very much for joining me today

You are welcome
Podcast are really taking off. I listen to a few myself. I quite like the idea of a Steemit meetup. There is however none local to me. How do I start one? Having had the opportunity to attend the Anacharforko this year I now appreciate the value of in person meetings. Terry if you have any tips on starting one I be glad if you could share. Thanks
You know, that would be a good video to create. Thank you for asking @nitego. Also, I have some ideas on how to put the group together on a local basis having done several of these. Thank oyu for asking and I'll have to put something together.
Thanks Terry I shall be looking out for that. There must be many as new as me with the desire to build a connection.
Thanx, @nitego Upvoted @ 100% Thanx for stopping by!
Thank you
FYI, the video stops in mid-sentence. Also, what do you use to record yourself? I've only been familiar with Zoom but that won't be as sharp as local.
Thank you for letting me know, @risemultiversity. There is a timing issue on this and I'm working to figure it out. I recorded this with OBS through DLive. I regularly use Zoom and would like to tie Zoom into this someway. I think we can do it with OBS but I don't know how to do that yet. Thank you for your comments!
So Dlive won't allow video upload. It has to be OBS stream like Twitch. Shame cause Dlive is easier to use than Dtube. Dtube never works and I can never get a straight answer even on the Discord to video specifications for it to work on their system. Too bad. Dlive isn't decentralised, it uses AWS. But it's superior quality vs the clunkyness of Dtube. IPFS uses any node and the computer specs can be a rusty x486 in someone's basement for all we know.
Typically there's a 10-30 second delay when it comes to streaming. Best ask Dlive for the specs.
good dlive

Thank you, @glorimarbolivar. Glad you enjoyed it.
I've never cared for the term "content creator" at best I'm a wannabbe blogger, but I prefer a teller of stories, or story teller. I've been blogging for about 8 years on one platform or other, and actually came across Steemit by accident. I thought why not, so I applied, (which took almost two weeks to be approved)
Enough about me, I've watched several of your Youtube video, quite helpful I might add, and I have to agree, getting attention to your "content" isn't easy and I've tried many ways to do this. I even jumped into the Discord pimp your post thursday, which was today and the first one I attended. It was interesting, although I have to admit I drifted off a few times, but then some things interest me more than others. I do know attending a Steemit conference is out of the question for me, but sounds interesting, Anyway, keep up the good work, it's been helpful.
Thank you very much for your post. That is very kind of you to watch my videos and I appreciate it. I find blogging it is something that is very enjoyable. I have been blogging for quite a while and even worked with Skype as their chief enterprise Blogger. I was also the editor-in-chief for AT&T's largest blog.
Now I am thoroughly in love with the steam it platform and all that we can do through D tube and D live and DSound
Thank you again for your comment and I look forward to hearing more from you in the future
