RE: [dlive] Steem - Can it beat Reddit and Youtube ?? (Feat. Dlive)

in #dlive7 years ago

I find it amazing! I never started creating content on YouTube because I just found disgusting the whole demonetization thing and the fact that, as a matter of fact, it’s basically censorship.
Plus there is the problem with all the ads.
None of that on Steemit.

I’ve been on Steemit for a little over a month and have been able to build a small community. It’s just fun. And you get rewarded by being creative.

The voting problem though. That’s a big problem. Especially for new steemians. There are some ways to give credit to smaller creators (like the work that Curie does) but that’s not a solution. That’s a temporary fix.

I don’t know man. I’ve been struggling with the whole situation for a bit. Bid bots are terrible as well. Maybe by banning bid bots and creating a different set of rules depending on the amount of Steem power that you own might work.

I have a bad feeling about this because Dan Larimer has powerd down and now is launching a social media platform built on the EOS blockchain. I’m afraid that he’s going to fix there the problems that we are experiencing on Steemit.

Anyway, great video as always!
