When @disregardfiat and I started @dlux-io back in 2018, Hive was known by another name, and the metaverse wasn't yet a well known idea (although Ready Player One) was certainly helping.
I was fairly new to LA, obsessed with virtual reality, and unhappy with how the internet was progressing.
Fast forward to today, I've finally established a career foothold in the LA commercial scene (hoping to jump to film one day), I'm still bullish on VR longterm, and the popular internet is the worst it's ever been IMO.
Over the last 4 years, DLUX has delivered several notable firsts:
1 ) First AR+VR blockchain dApp publishing paradigm complete with builder (yes, we beat Decentraland and everyone else to the punch with no funding)
2 ) First Layer 2 solution for Hive with a completely decentralized exchange (DEX)
3 ) First Generative NFT minting (with the lowest possible fees, basically at cost)
The journey has been a difficult yet exciting one, and the Hive community has made it one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
I feel I've finally found an internet I can believe in wholly, with a shared vision of the future we all want to live into. We are in the strongest position yet to make this a (real) reality.

I'm really glad I was an early delegator/investor. You and @disregardfiat basically gave me coding lessons for free with the first Glitch builder. I've always wanted to learn video game asset creation and things like Unity as a hobby. DLUX is the best HIVE project especially with this new Nft minting system that is currently being built/tested.

You guys are ahead of your time. It really is that simple. VR has taken a bit longer to develop that many expected. That is how it goes with technology at times.
Either way, we are looking at a bright future and the fact we have VR capabilities is something that is also going to help set Hive apart.
Better to be ahead than behind I suppose. Your continued support and exposure getting the word out has been very helpful. Perhaps with "Meta" on people's minds, we will start to see more people who want to actually build the meta-verse enter the chat!
