But it's not theft, because your neighbors voted for a politician who appointed a bureaucrat who hired a goon to rob you. So you did it to yourself. Somehow!
Just had this argument with someone today. The amount of theft is irrelevant...theft is theft. Why don't people understand this? People actually have convinced themselves that they pay taxes willingly. Why? Because they want roads. If you ask them if they want to bomb hospitals...they say..omg NO. Well, your tax money has done that quite a bit too. I know we're preaching to the choir here.
