May I make the suggestion the marketing tactic to instead, focus on the utilization of Google Ads network instead?
I feel the idea is half way there.
Posting memes related to DMania on 9Gag is in deirect competition to 9Gag and they will soon define DMania as an enemy.
My suggestions would be, to instead, have memes promoting DMania appear in 9Gag itself through Google Adwords targetting specifically 9Gag itself.
Secondarily, I'd suggest creating banner ads promoting DMania accross smaller meme sites which exist a dime a dozen with the really cheap cost of advertising on. The banner ads could have a tagline somewhere along the lines of :
Make Memes
????
Profit.
Like I said in another Dmania post, this implementation of Steem as a 9Gag like platform is something that I have thought of and from a marketing standpoint deem to be extremely profitable.
As such, I do have some ideas on the matter that may be very helpful and I intend to see this project fluorish.
