Source-

Hey, I noticed this post on reddit, are you user youneedjason over there? If so, maybe make a quick post or comment or something about steemit or share your steemit link there to verify it is you.

Just checking because if you are not and are just stealing his post then...

Not indicating that the content you copy/paste is not your original work could be seen as plagiarism.

Some tips to share content and add value:

  • Use a few sentences from your source in “quotes.” Use HTML tags or Markdown.
  • Linking to your source
  • Include your own original thoughts and ideas on what you have shared.

Repeated plagiarized posts are considered spam. Spam is discouraged by the community, and may result in action from the cheetah bot.

If you are actually the original author, please do reply to let us know!

Thank You!

Hi! Thanks for commenting. I am actually the OP from reddit. I was so excited to post on Steemit but had no idea what to start with so I thought I'd test the waters with a cross post from Reddit. You'll notice I have posted to the r/steemit subreddit on the topic of plagiarism for verification. I'll edit this post to include the original reddit post link just so everyone knows this I am one and the same.

No problem, just wanted to be sure. Lots of people just taking material from somewhere on the internet and trying to pass it off as their own.
