I saw the dust rising,
I felt the earth beneath
I knew the skies were staring,
Down on earth as it bleed
So many voices,
So many cries,
Heart aching screams, from mouths that were shut tight
The earth, the trees, the mountains,
Couldn’t bear the load
Of unheard voices, the uncried roars
Another blast that shattered
Hundreds of lively dreams,
By killing countless innocents
And leaving their wounds to bleed
The shallow hollow bodies,
Were giving a huge tribute
To those who lost their lives for nothing and nothing at all
To those whose lives’ purposes were snatched and crushed
Maybe, by the cruel act of fate
No one responsible, no one to be blamed
For the utter violence, that just took place
They were giving that tribute
For kind of making a point,
The point!!?
God knows what that was
When our lives will be normal?
When they’ll be free?
When our kids will have a trust worthy environment
Where they can breathe, they can have their love and
They can fight like kids.
As soon as I,
Heard those sirens
I asked, from world, a question
Which I knew had no answer
When will our innocents, won’t have to die?
When will their voices will have a breathing soul?
How many Dianas will have to die?
How many Edhis this world needs
So hopefully,
We can have the life,
which we want, deserve and need.
