Hi @tomm - I am a minute BitClub holder, just for interest's sake. But if I may go off topic for a mo - I noticed some of your comments on UBI.
My perception is that in the urbanized world of today a great proportion of humankind is deprived of the privilege of reaping directly from what nature provided to primitive man as a basic means of survival - for free. To my mind UBI should be there to compensate for only that, to provide each and every one with a fair base from which to earn the luxuries that make life really worth while.
Poverty was created by civilization - and civilization should redress that aberration. UBI is the way to go, however distasteful it might seem at first sight from the earning person's point of view.
I am working on a stable valued coin, alas not fit for speculation, but that could serve to preserve purchasing power, whatever PP needs to be preserved, be it as a safe store in an unpredictable market, or as a preserver of viability for every pensioner in need of protection of devaluation of assets.
Kind regards!
What is UBI???
Hi @tomm - its that irksome Universal Basic Income that at first sight makes the stomach turn...until, behind all the hullabaloo one recognizes the fact that, like we all need to breath free oxygen, we all need some essential stuff over and above oxygen to be capable of being honest competitors in a free market environment. Its a thorny one, but we must somehow fill up the morass in which crime and begging are the only obtainable means of survival. Forgive me for having difficulty in getting my point across - my weakness! Cheers
