Today I want to tell you how my dog Yosha likes yummies :)
You know that there is a huge industry for supplying owners of dogs and other animals with different things, from clothing and accessories for animals to various feeds. I will not hide, I really like to please Yosha with different delicious things. When I return from the store, Yosha always looks in the food bags and looks for what I bought for him.
Unfortunately, Yosha does not tolerate bones at all, like other dogs do. His digestive system does not cope with bones, so I buy him special treats for dogs. These are various freeze-dried meat products, such as: chicken legs, poultry fillets, beef meat.
Yosha loves these products and is ready to do anything to get delicious! :) Before I treat him, I ask him to execute several commands. Yosha can sit, lie, give a paw and jump :)

Aw, Yosha is a beautiful dog! One of my grandma's dogs have the same problem with bones, and we have to give him other treats, some of them we made it at home because the ones at the stores are really expensive. Even thoug they are not my dogs (because I'm allergic☹), I love them so much and try to help with their care. Greetings!

I wanted to put my dogs on a raw meat diet, but found their systems could no longer handle it, which is really sad considering this is their natural inclination. Bones are almost as bad.
It is always lovely to see how excited they get over the treats. :D
Perhaps these problems arise from the long use of dry dog food? Yosh can eat meat a little, but he does not digest bones at all. If he accidentally eats a bone, then he has very big digestive problems and it becomes our problem too. We do not always have time to take him out of the home .... So the bones are taboo for my dog.
I think it is very likely a big part of, if not all of, the reason they cannot cope. Their digestive systems no longer know how to process 'real' food.
A great lesson for us humans, too. ;)
