Sort:  

the chicken from the supermarket as you can buy them in most of Europe(plus exported) are heavily loaded with antibiotics, not only one kind of antibiotic, but ca. 10 of them, each to the allowed level (as I heard). So your dog is in need of antibiotics?
Or do you get the chicken from an organic farmer you know and whom you can trust?
In Europe we have some problems with animal-factories

@chris-iv, you have an interesting point. I know that in the USA, feeding antibiotics to animals is a huge problem. The FDA is struggling with this issue but so far they are only asking for the food industry to adhere to voluntary standards. I have noticed that Tyson Foods, a major food company in the US, has pledged that their chickens will be 100% antibiotic free by the end of 2017. We'll see. I've been feeding our cat (and the cat before him) a little bit of raw chicken every day. But he also gets kibble and wet cat food.
