We are dog sitting my wife's bosses sweet Shiba Inu named Zoe. She really is a cutie and so well behaved. A lot of people ask if she barks or anything, but honestly she acts more like a cat then anything. She's now 13 and mainly sleeps a lot and likes to snuggle.
Yes, I had to be one of those people that put sunglasses on a dog. I couldn't resist, she is so cute!
Here's some fun facts on Shiba Inus:
- Their name means “brushwood dog.”
- They were bred to be versatile hunters.
- Japan loves them. They have historical roots in Japan.
- They nearly went extinct.After WWII they wasn't a lot of breeding and they nearly went extinct.
- They came to America pretty recently. They first came to the United States in 1954.
- They’re loyal. They are fiercely loyal to their owners
- Shibas are known for being very clean dogs.
