went through the same thing 7 yrs ago - Male rescue Staffy 2yrs old and then incame a 6week old rescued Jack Russell female - nearly 10 yrs on they are inseparable and she 'guards' him from any other female or male who may be interested in him - HE IS HERS!!! She has kept our Staffy young for sure!
